How does it work?

To be eligible for programme, you need to fulfil these requirements:- Candidates must be 19+ (as of the 31st of August 2023)
- You have the legal right to live and work in the UK
- You are interested in a career in technology and are able to demonstrate the same
- You are available and ok to undergo training for 15 consecutive weeks
- You possess computing equipment and steady internet connection to undergo the training
What skills will you learn during the 15 weeks?
Week 1 – Week 5
Get introduced to Technology and Business, including Roles and Responsibilities, Agile, Scrum, Git, PowerShell, and Networking. Work with Databases, including SQL, Joins, and Non-Relational Databases.
Week 6 – Week 10
Focus on Core IT areas for a Software Developer. Programming Fundamentals with Python, including data types, expressions, statements, literals, control flow, and OOP fundamentals. Further Programming, including OOP, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Libraries and Frameworks, and Other Design Principles.
Week 11 – Week 14
Get hands-on with Web Technology, including HTML, CSS, JS, and HTTP. Dive into Back End Development using frameworks to build applications – Work with Django.
Deep dive into Web Development using a framework (Angular) to build applications, integrate with Front End libraries, and do scripting using TypeScript.
Week 15
Employability Skills: Focus on activities blending soft skills learnings with professional environment - like tools, processes, and best practice exposure. Unified and immersive experience created for learners through a blend of technical and behavioral skills that could leverage the interview process.

The programme is 100% free or fully funded for all individuals, as it is government funded.
*Organisations are required to contribute 10–30% towards the upskilling costs for current employees if the learner is referred by the employer.
Our Skills Bootcamp is a 15-week, intensive program designed to teach you essential skills for a career in software development. The course is funded, meaning there is no cost to you, and it combines both in-person and online learning.
Our programme includes 14 weeks of virtual tech training, held 3.5 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), followed by a 15th week of in-person employability skills training. This structure ensures you gain the technical expertise and practical skills needed for success.
- Anyone with a passion for learning software development can apply. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to upskill, our Skills Bootcamp is designed to accommodate all levels of experience.
- If you meet eligibility criteria.
The Skills Bootcamp is held in York and North Yorkshire, UK. It features a hybrid model, allowing you to learn both online and through in-person sessions.
Your application was rejected as you have not met one of our programmes criteria’s OR not scored the minimum number of points on a test in the application cycle. Please ensure that you review the eligibility criteria on the Programme page. Common reasons for why you may have been rejected are because on the application you have selected an option that means you:
• Do not live in the area
• Will be in full-time education or training at the start of the programme
• Do not have the right to live and work in the UK
• Are not available for the full duration of the programme
• Are not able to start a job straight after the programme is complete
• Did not score the minimum number of points on one of our tests/tasks to move onto the next stage
Unfortunately, as of now this programme is only for individuals who can legally work in the UK
After you have successfully completed our training, we provide placement assistance by helping schedule interview(s) with hiring employer(s)

Yes, you can apply directly through our website as a self-referred learner. However, in line with government guidelines, no more than 50% of total learners across our Skills Bootcamp pathways can be self-referred, regardless of demand.
