About the Programme

Our fully funded Software and App Developer Skills Bootcamp (IfATE Level 3 standard) is funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education (Skills for Life campaign), making it free for eligible Londoners aged 19+.

This bootcamp is open to individuals who are employed, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work. Whether you’re starting fresh or looking to upskill, the programme is designed to equip you with the technical and professional skills needed to succeed in the fast-growing field of software development.

Over 10 weeks (9 weeks virtual + 1 week in-person), you will learn core programming and development skills including Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Django, and Angular. Alongside this, you will take part in hands-on projects and build a capstone web application, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills to real-world scenarios and strengthen your portfolio.

The bootcamp requires no prior coding experience only basic IT literacy. To ensure all learners can participate fully, we also provide accessibility and learning support, with reasonable adjustments available where required.

In addition to technical skills, you’ll receive dedicated employability training covering teamwork, communication, CV writing, and interview preparation. On successful completion of the bootcamp, you will be guaranteed at least one interview with an employer partner, creating a clear pathway into roles such as Junior Front-End Developer, Angular Developer, or Web Application Developer.

Employers enrolling staff through this programme may be asked to provide a co-funding contribution.
