About the Programme
Our fully funded Software and App Developer Skills Bootcamp (IfATE Level 3 standard) is designed to help Buckinghamshire residents gain the technical skills, confidence, and industry exposure needed to start a career in software development.
Designed for individuals at all levels, this 10-week programme blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, helping you master the essential skills needed for entry-level software development roles.
You’ll be trained by industry professionals with real-world experience, gaining insights that go beyond textbooks. Throughout the bootcamp, you’ll work on hands-on projects, including a capstone project where you will create a complete web application using Angular. These projects simulate workplace scenarios, building your portfolio and boosting your confidence to take on real-world challenges.
The programme also focuses on employability skills, with dedicated sessions on CV building, interview preparation, teamwork, and communication ensuring you’re career-ready. You’ll also join a network of peers and professionals for ongoing support, collaboration, and opportunities after the course.
Our hybrid format combines the flexibility of online learning with the value of face-to-face interaction. You’ll complete 9 weeks of virtual technical training followed by 1 week in-person for employability training, maximising both convenience and impact.

How does it work?

To be eligible for programme, you need to fulfil these requirements:- Candidates must be 19+ (as of the 31st of August 2024)
- You have the legal right to live and work in the UK
- You are interested in a career in technology and are able to demonstrate the same
- You are available and ok to undergo training for 10 consecutive weeks
- You possess computing equipment and steady internet connection to undergo the training
What skills will you learn during the 10 weeks?
Week 1 – Week 2
Introduction to Technology & Business: Roles & Responsibilities, Agile, Scrum, Git, PowerShell, Networking, and Databases (SQL, Joins, Non-Relational)
Week 3 – Week 4
Programming Fundamentals with Python: Data types, expressions, control flow, OOP fundamentals, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Libraries, and Frameworks
Week 5 – Week 8
Front-End Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, and Back-End Development with Django
Week 9 – Week 10
Advanced Front-End Development: TypeScript and Angular for scalable, maintainable single-page applications.
In-Person Employability Skills: CV building, interview preparation, workplace best practices, and collaborative project work.

The programme is 100% free or fully funded for all individuals, as it is government funded.
*Organisations are required to contribute 10–30% towards the upskilling costs for current employees if the learner is referred by the employer.
Our Skills Bootcamp is a 10-week, intensive program designed to teach you essential skills for a career in software development. The course is funded, meaning there is no cost to you, and it combines both in-person and online learning.

- Anyone with a passion for learning software development can apply. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to upskill, our Skills Bootcamp is designed to accommodate all levels of experience.
- If you meet eligibility criteria.
The Skills Bootcamp is held in Buckinghamshire, UK. It features a hybrid model, allowing you to learn both online and through in-person sessions.
Your application was rejected as you have not met one of our programmes criteria’s OR not scored the minimum number of points on a test in the application cycle. Please ensure that you review the eligibility criteria on the Programme page. Common reasons for why you may have been rejected are because on the application you have selected an option that means you:
• Do not live in the area
• Will be in full-time education or training at the start of the programme
• Do not have the right to live and work in the UK
• Are not available for the full duration of the programme
• Are not able to start a job straight after the programme is complete
• Did not score the minimum number of points on one of our tests/tasks to move onto the next stage
Unfortunately, as of now this programme is only for individuals who can legally work in the UK
After you have successfully completed our training, we provide placement assistance by helping schedule interview(s) with hiring employer(s)
