About the Programme

Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start Track 2 is an accelerated free skills development programme that prepares learners for entry-level careers in the cloud. Track 2 is designed for individuals who already have a basic technical foundation and are ready to transition into cloud roles faster.

The programme’s mission remains the same. It builds talent by providing AWS Cloud skills development and access to job opportunities for unemployed or underemployed populations. AWS re/Start is collaborating with Primed Talent Limited, a talent transformation organisation, to deliver this Track 2 cohort.

Track 2 is a 6 -8 week accelerated programme. It includes 4 weeks of full-time instructor-led training (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM) supported by real-world scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework. The remaining weeks focus on structured learning and exam preparation, supported through daily instructor office hours (2–3 hours per day).

AWS re/Start Track 2 is delivered in a fully virtual format. The programme begins with four weeks of full-time virtual instructor-led training, followed by blended self-study during the final two weeks, supported by daily instructor office hours.
